£10m expansion plan for popular Oxfordshire business park

3D images Hampden Field SiteOxfordshire landlords Jennings have announced a £10m expansion plan for their flagship business park, which could bring up to 300 new jobs to the area. It would see Monument Park at Chalgrove offer a further 56,000sqft of commercial space, with room for up to 20 businesses, as well as potential for an education centre, gym, cafe and business lounge, plus apartments for Park staff and visitors.

Jennings MD Paul Mabbutt says: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to expand an already thriving business park and build on the community and support we offer. We have a number of tenants who are keen to stay with us but need more space, and we know that new, high quality commercial space is required to support the growth in the Oxfordshire economy. As with earlier developments at Monument Park we are committed to building in as an environment-friendly way as possible, employing local suppliers and investing heavily in renewable energy.”

Jennings aim to further develop the plan during 2014, seeking would-be tenants looking for 5,000sqft upwards from early 2016, including the possibility of growing businesses in the science and bioscience sectors who might need dry lab space.

Monument Park Chalgrove www.monument-park.co.uk is currently home to 80 businesses employing 600 people between them. Jennings also own and manage a business park in Garsington, business centres in Abingdon and Oxford, retail shops in Thame and warehouse units in Berinsfield.
